Shape Africa 2024

Upskilling for Africa’s Development

ABOUT SHAPE AFRICA

Join Shapers from the Global Shapers Community's Africa region in Addis Ababa for SHAPE Africa 2024, from 14-16 November, in partnership with the African Union Special Youth Envoy.

Under the theme Upskilling for Africa's Development, this year's event will spotlight young Africans who are taking action and create more space for youth to be active participants in Africa’s development. SHAPE will be a platform to enhance and elevate the skills of Africa's youth, which is critical to driving economic growth and innovation, as well as collaborative efforts for social progress across the continent.

With a focus on technology and innovation, while also acknowledging our culture and heritage, we look forward to welcoming over 200 attendees to network, exchange and collaborate at SHAPE Africa 2024.

We look forward to seeing you in Ethiopia later this year.
